1. Who is responsible
Dijimania, LLC (“Dijimania,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company, is the controller of personal data processed through Yunoo.
- Registered office: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States
- Privacy: privacy@yunoo.app
- Legal: legal@yunoo.app
This notice explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights under applicable law, including the EU/UK GDPR, Turkey’s KVKK (Law No. 6698), Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and U.S. state laws such as the California CPRA where they apply.
If we provide a translation, the English version controls, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
2. What Yunoo does with data
Yunoo is an 18+ social chat app. We process personal data to create accounts, show country-first profiles, match people who like each other, deliver messages, process in-app purchases, show ads (on free plans), send optional notifications, and keep the community safe.
3. Data we collect
Account. Apple or Google sign-in identifiers, email address, authentication tokens, and a unique user ID.
Profile. Display name, date of birth (for the 18+ gate; we use it to derive age), gender, country, city you type (not GPS), languages and levels, bio, purpose (language, friends, or culture), photos, and interest tags.
Matching and social graph. Likes, passes, matches, profile views, revealed likes/views, blocks, and reports.
Communications. Direct-message requests, chat text, voice notes, and photos you send. We host these so the other person can receive them.
Payments. We do not store full card numbers. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process purchases. We store plan status (Plus/Gold), expiry, Yun balance, and a ledger of grants and spends, plus store transaction identifiers needed to prevent double grants.
Device and ads. Push token, coarse device/app diagnostics, language, and — if you allow tracking — advertising identifiers used by Google AdMob. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency applies.
Safety. Report reasons, moderation decisions, ban status, and signals we use to enforce the 18+ rule and community rules.
We do not collect precise GPS in this version of Yunoo.
4. How we collect it
- Directly from you (account, profile, messages, photos, purchases you start)
- Automatically from the app and stores (device, purchase receipts, crash/diagnostics)
- From other users (likes, views, reports, messages sent to you)
- From providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, AdMob) as needed to authenticate, bill, or show ads
5. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to:
- Perform the contract: account, matching, chat, Yun wallet, Plus/Gold
- Obtain consent where required: optional photos, push notifications, personalized ads / ATT, certain marketing
- Pursue legitimate interests: safety, fraud and abuse prevention, product analytics that are not ads personalization, defending legal claims
- Comply with law: 18+ enforcement, lawful requests, tax and accounting records for purchases where required
Under KVKK, the corresponding bases include the contract (Art. 5/2-c), legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç), legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f), and explicit consent where required (Art. 5/1), including for certain overseas transfers.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share data with processors and platforms that help us run Yunoo:
- Supabase (United States) — database, auth, file storage
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, push (APNs)
- Google — Google Sign-In, Play billing, Firebase/FCM push, AdMob ads
- RevenueCat (United States) — subscription and purchase status
Other users see the profile you publish (name, photos, country, city, languages, bio, tags). They do not see your email or date of birth. People who liked you are visible; profile views follow Plus/Gold/Yun rules in the app.
We may disclose data if required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or in a merger or sale of Dijimania, LLC, subject to this Policy.
7. International transfers
Dijimania, LLC is established in the United States. If you use Yunoo from Turkey, Korea, the EEA/UK, or elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States and any other country where our processors operate.
Safeguards include contracts with processors and, where GDPR applies, appropriate transfer tools (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). Where KVKK or PIPA require additional notice or consent for overseas transfer, we provide that in this Policy and at collection.
Korea (PIPA overseas transfer). Recipients include Dijimania, LLC and the processors listed above, located primarily in the United States. Items: account identifiers, profile, messages and media you send, purchase tokens, device/push/ad identifiers. Purpose: operating, securing, and billing Yunoo. Period: as in the retention section. You may refuse overseas transfer by not using Yunoo; some functions cannot be provided without it.
8. Retention
- Profile, matches, and chat: while the account is open
- After deletion: we delete or irreversibly anonymize personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep
- Safety records (reports, bans, fraud): up to 3 years, or longer if a dispute or legal hold is open
- Purchase and ledger records: up to 7 years where tax or accounting law requires
- Backups: rolling windows, then purged
Voice notes and chat photos are stored so the conversation can be delivered and reviewed; they are removed with the account, subject to the exceptions above.
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and provider security features. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You can reduce risk by choosing what you post and by reporting abuse.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- EEA/UK: GDPR Arts. 15–21. Complaint: your local DPA or the ICO (UK).
- Turkey: KVKK Art. 11. Complaint: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (kvkk.gov.tr). Apply to us first in writing at privacy@yunoo.app.
- Korea: PIPA rights to access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing. You may also contact the Personal Information Protection Commission (pipc.go.kr).
- California: CPRA rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. AdMob may use advertising identifiers; you can opt out via ATT (iOS), device ad settings, and by using Plus/Gold where ads are removed.
To exercise rights, email privacy@yunoo.app from the address on your account. We may need to verify you. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires (generally 30 days; KVKK applications are answered within 30 days).
11. Account deletion
Use Settings → Delete account, or email privacy@yunoo.app from the address on your account. We delete personal data as described under Retention. Reports, store transaction identifiers, and a non-identifying deletion record may be kept for safety, fraud prevention, or law.
Deleting the Yunoo account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that in Apple or Google account settings.
Apple and Google require an in-app way to delete the account. Settings → Delete account is that path; email remains a backup.
12. Children
Yunoo is 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete associated personal data, except records we must keep for safety or law.
13. Ads, cookies, and tracking
The app is not a website, but software development kits act like cookies. AdMob may set or read advertising IDs. On iOS we request tracking permission before using data for tracking as defined by Apple. You can reset or limit ad tracking in system settings. Rewarded ads still play if you decline personalization; they may be less relevant.
14. Automated processing
Matching order, expiry of unused matches, and some abuse or photo checks may be automated. These decisions do not produce legal effects like credit scoring. Safety automations may hide content or restrict an account pending review. You can contact privacy@yunoo.app to contest a restriction.
15. California notice at collection
Categories: identifiers, account login, demographic information (gender, age range), user content, commercial information (purchases), internet/device activity, and inferences used to show profiles. Sensitive personal information may include account login, messages, and photos. We use these categories for the purposes in this Policy. Retention is in section 8. We do not use sensitive personal information for unexpected secondary purposes.
16. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update, except where the law requires a new consent.
